Shift markers in a marker EDL

Move every marker in a DaVinci Resolve marker EDL by an offset, and download an EDL you can import back, colors and notes intact.

Exporting markers from Resolve

In DaVinci Resolve, right-click the timeline in the Media Pool and choose Timelines › Export › Timeline Markers to EDL. Open that file here, set the offset, and download the shifted EDL.

Importing them back

Right-click the timeline again and choose Timelines › Import › Timeline Markers from EDL. The markers come in at their new timecodes with their colors and notes. Delete the old markers first if you don't want both.

When you'd shift markers

Notes made on a timeline starting at 00:00:00:00 that has to move to 01:00:00:00. A reel that gained a head leader. Notes from one version of a cut moved onto a version that starts later.

Is my EDL uploaded?

No. The file is read and shifted in your browser, and the download is made there too. Nothing is sent anywhere.
