Terms

These terms are between you and [Legal name], doing business as Silverfang ("we"), and cover the Silverfang TC app, a Silverfang TC license, your account, and this website. By downloading the app, buying a license or using the site you agree to them.

The trial and free features

The app is free to try with every feature for 14 days from first launch. After the trial, Quick Calc's timecode math stays free. Everything else needs a license.

Your license

• A license is a one-time purchase that lets you use Silverfang TC Pro on up to 2 Macs at a time. Buy more licenses for more Macs.
• A company may buy licenses for its people; each license's Macs are then the company's to assign. You can move a license to another Mac by deactivating one.
• A license includes every 2.x update. A future major version may be a paid upgrade; the version you have keeps working.
• The app is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not granted here. The open-source components in the app are under their own licenses, listed in its About window.

What you agree not to do

• Share license files or your account so the app runs on more Macs than you've paid for.
• Get around the trial, the license checks or the activation limit.
• Reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this.
• Resell or sublicense the app or a license without our written permission.

Buying

Payments are processed by Stripe [as merchant of record, which may appear on your statement and handles sales tax]. Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay.

Refunds

If Silverfang TC isn't right for you, email support@silverfangtc.com within 14 days of buying for a full refund. A refunded or charged-back license stops working: its Macs lapse within 60 days. This doesn't limit any right to a refund you have under the law where you live.

Your account

Buying creates an account on your email address, which you sign in to with emailed links. Keep access to that inbox: anyone who can read it can sign in. Tell us at once if you think someone else has.

The free web tools

The tools on this website are free to use. They run in your browser and come with no guarantee; check results that matter.

No warranty

The app and the website are provided as they are. We work hard to make every result right, but timecode is often deadline work: check anything you deliver. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, data or business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Silverfang TC in the 12 months before it.

Ending

You can stop using the app at any time. We may end a license that breaks these terms; if we do without good reason, we'll refund it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the United States, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in [County], Utah, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in effect when you bought applies to that purchase, and we'll email you before a change that matters takes effect.
